Tonight, we continued our conversation on judgment. We know that we will never be able to avoid judging others unless we are humble enough to admit that we need God's help. And, then, we have to "work with God," as He helps us to change. How exactly do we do this? Well, we need a plan. Most of us admitted that it is difficult to keep New Year's resolutions. Sometimes, that is because we don't really have a plan that will help us to make the changes we need to make. If we really want to work with God, it is a good idea to have a plan. What will be in my plan? It depends on what works for me. I can talk to God about why I'm afraid to change. I can ask Him for strength in particular situations. I can read about the example of Christ. I can examine my conscience to see how I'm doing and what I need to spend more time working on. I can ask God to help me to be patient with myself because if I give myself a chance, it will be easier for me to give others a chance. With God's help, the impossible is possible!
